Bhagawaanji was an advaitin who not only struggled and achieved Salvation but also worked ceaselessly for the betterment of Humanity. A Karma Yogin Bhagawaanji virtually toiled in doing well to people and raising the level of consciousness of the masses in general. Bhagawaanji broke his mortal shackles on 28th of May 1968.

But in his Divine Casual form, he is ever with us for all times to come. He is the first saint in the annals of Kashmir whose statute has been enshrined in an Ashram built in his sacred memory to inspire the future aspirants and seekers on the path of God realization.

Physical exuberance of Kashmir is meaningfully matched by its spiritual excellence. Therefore in the Land Kashyapa, savants, sages and saints have all along beckoned to man to glean spiritual unity out of surrounding multiplicity displayed by nature with its rainbowlined extravagance. Hence his self and the super self get fused into one whole, the distance between the actual and the ideal, imminence of Transcendence gets minimized, and the Man stripped off deluding apparitions, an exercise in futility, finds his own feet and tools for rushing head long to the effulgent destination where self realization dawns

Eminent men of spiritual attainment, voluntarily of course, share their experiences with such realized and act as mentors to them in this spiritual and mental quest. Such God-men are sent to this world with a purpose so that the erring man does not get derailed into mire of animality. In our age we have been fortunate enough to relish and consequently profit by the arresting aroma of Jagadguru Bhagawaan Gopinathji’s multi-dimensional personality – The one for his own spiritual Ascendancy and the other to disseminate its fruits among the people most liberally.

Therefore, to speak precisely, he lived in his own self yet lived with the masses around him. This is called the pinnacle of self is consciousness which Bhagawaanji owned in abundance. His life on this nebulous earth was a safe of mental and spiritual exercise undertaken to proffer bliss (Ananda) unto the ailing mankind running after shadow

His cosmic appearance was simply a medium between the man and his spirit. Such persons of towering stature have earned the name of Divya Sadhaka (celestial realizers) in the Tantric Lore. Bhagawaan throughout the years assigned to him for his ennobling mission stove hard in his own unassuming yet persuasive way to restore the Devine spark to the man. He tried to rehabilitate him on his actual morrings.
